Cartoon Caption Contest
We dug through more than 185 entries for this month’s cartoon caption contest, but we’re losing hairs trying to pick the best one. We’ve narrowed the entries down to these three picks below, and we want your help to determine the winner. The caption that gets the most votes will appear in an upcoming issue of the magazine.
Vote in the cartoon poll for one of the captions listed below:
• “It’s a warrant for your arrest; says you failed to appear.” —Submitted by Ryan T. Pumpian of Atlanta
• “And when I say: ‘Plaintiff is trying to pull a rabbit out of a hat,’ that’s your cue to pop up. The jury will love it!” —Submitted by Jim Wade of Portland, Maine
• “When you said you could work real magic before the jury, this is not what I had in mind.” —Submitted by Mark Wilson of Great Falls, Montana
How to vote: Using our poll, select the caption you think best fits the scene depicted in the cartoon.
Voting period: The poll closes at 11:59 p.m. CT on Monday, Dec. 31.
What’s the prize? Bragging rights. Plus, the winning caption and credit to the caption writer will appear in an upcoming issue of the ABA Journal.
