Updated: Three broken ribs aren’t stopping Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg from getting some work done.

Ginsburg was released from the hospital on Friday morning, USA Today reports. Court spokesperson Kathy Arberg said Ginsburg “is doing well and plans to work from home” on Friday.

Ginsburg’s nephew, Daniel Stiepleman, told Reuters on Thursday evening that Ginsburg was working in her hospital room. “The last I heard she was up and working, of course, because what else would she be doing, and cracking jokes,” Stiepleman said. “I can’t promise they were good jokes, but they were jokes.”

Ginsburg, 85, fell Wednesday night in her office at the Supreme Court, then went home, according to a press release. She went to George Washington University Hospital early Thursday morning after experiencing discomfort overnight. She was admitted to the hospital for observation and treatment.

Ginsburg also broke two ribs in 2012 but did not miss work, the New York Times reports. Broken ribs usually heal in about six weeks, but the time can vary.

Reuters spoke with Stiepleman at a premiere of a movie about Ginsburg’s works as a young lawyer on a 1972 gender discrimination case. Stiepleman wrote the script for the film, called On the Basis of Sex.

Ginsburg said in July she hopes to stay at least five more years on the Supreme Court. She has survived colon and pancreatic cancer and had heart stent surgery in 2014.

The hospitalization prevented Ginsburg from attending a formal investiture ceremony for Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh. All the other justices were there, the New York Times reports.
