What is mobile marketing?
It starts with a mobile website, but it doesn’t end there!
Is Your Attorney Marketing Website Mobile Friendly?
Mobile marketing for law firms is a great way to generate new business and engage your existing clients. People are now relying on mobile when making decisions, looking for directions or even general company information. Companies including law firms are turning to mobile as part of their business growth strategy and our suite of mobile marketing tools are the perfect fit.
As Eric Schmidt, the former Google Executive Chairman, said, “Mobile is no longer winning. It has already won.”
Let’s look at three quick reasons why attorneys need to go mobile. Number one, mobile is everywhere. Number two, mobile converts clicks to clients. Number three, not being mobile actually has a high cost.
Let’s look at the numbers to back this up. First up, mobile is everywhere. More than half the U.S. population, over 57%, already own a smart phone. There are more than seven billion people on this planet and more of them own smart phones than toothbrushes. Americans are spending an average of two hours per day on their mobile devices. That’s around 13% of their day. Big law firms are quickly going mobile. We’ve seen a 63% increase in their mobile presence year over year from 2012 to 2013. Mobile is everywhere and it’s not going anywhere.
Second, mobile converts clicks to clients. Mobile searches convert at three times the percentage of desktop searches. In fact, 77% of mobile searches trigger additional action. 85% of mobile search-related triggered actions occur within five hours of the initial search. Mobile converts and it converts quickly.
Third, not being mobile has a high cost. 40% of consumers say they have turned to a competitor’s site after a bad mobile experience. 57% of users say they will not recommend a business with a poorly designed mobile site. And, according to Google, misconfigured mobile sites can be penalized in search results. And pay-per-click conversion suffer without a mobile-friendly landing page. Not being mobile, it costs you clients and cases. It costs you reviews, traffic from Google, and it costs you wasted money from your ad budget.
So, there you have it. Three powerful reasons why attorneys need to go mobile. Mobile is everywhere. Mobile converts clicks to clients. And not being mobile is costing you opportunity.
